Two friends and I recently completeled the Annapurna Base Camp short trek. From before the trek, Nepal Mother House team was very responsive and very flexible with accommodation and dates as we only had limited time.

We had an excellent guide (Subarna) and porter. They provided an excellent service and were very flexible to accommodate the needs of the group. They were very welcoming and introduced us to their language, food and culture.

One of our members was very ill first two days of the trek but they made sure he was okay at all times and supported him throughout the trek.
The team organized all hospitality from food to accommodation through the trek, which made the trip much easier and more enjoyable for us.
I highly recommend Nepal Mother House and will definitely be back to do the Everest Base Camp with this amazing team.

Karna, and Nepal Mother House trekking company did an excellent job from start to finish for our successful 3-week trek to the north & south base camps of the remote Kanchenjunga area, in eastern Nepal in Oct/Nov 2018. I contacted Karna from Canada a couple months before, and was immediately responded to by email with thorough information about the trip. Karna was extremely helpful and responsive, even before any booking confirmation was made. We are 2 younger trekkers who are very independent, and have solid backcountry experience, so Karna fit us with a local guide from the Kanchenjunga area (Mingma Sherpa) who provided a great experience for us, while allowing us to have flexibility throughout the 3 week trip. I'd highly recommend both Nepal Mother House (Karna), Mingma Sherpa, and the Kanchenjunga trek particularly if you are looking for an independent-style trek in a more remote area of Nepal. With Kanchenjunga you get to start low in the foothills and climb up through spectacular mountain terrain, crossing one major pass to connect both the north and south base camps. Nepal Mother House assisted with all logistics starting from arrival in Kathmnandu, air transport to eastern Nepal, and private jeep/car to the start of the trek. Everything was well organized, and was at a competitive price point. Karna and his team are very trustworthy, and will take the time to patiently answer all your questions! A great company, offering fantastic treks, highly recommended.

My wife and I recently completed a 23 day trek around the Manaslu  Circuit with Nepal Mother House Treks and were very pleased with the overall experience. Karna, our trekking agent, was exceptional in organizing and tailoring the trek to our specific needs given we are an older couple and wanted to ensure we had amble time to acclimatize and take in the additional side trips the circuit had to offer. Our guide Ashok and porters were extremely friendly and always made sure our safety and comfort were a top priority. With Nepal Mother House you get a very competitive price but what stood out for us, was an experience that allows you to go off the beaten path and be immersed in the real culture.

Brilliant experience and Nepalese hospitality at its best. We had an excellent guide (Subarna) and a great team of porters (Ram Babu, Biraj, Sangam and Dhan Raj) while trek in ABC Through Poon Hill. They provided an excellent service entire trip ( White Water Rafting, Annapurna Base Camp Poon Hill Trek and Chitwan Jungle Safari) and were very flexible to accommodate the needs of the group. They also introduced us to their music, language, culture and food. I highly recommend Nepal Mother House.

We had a fantastic trip to ABC. Mother House were great.. really friendly, accommodating and were also flexible, allowing us to speed the trek up by a day to get back to Pokhara a day early! Our, team of mother-daughter, first time tracking in Nepal with our guide Jayram and porter/guide Ashok was fun. They both were knowledgeable and fun to be with. They both were very patient with our slow pace.

About the trek path: Even though the Ghorepani Poon hill is in the shadow of monsoon season, it does get heavy short showers. And high peaks of Annapurna ranges stay covered in the clouds. There will be few minutes here and there where you can see them. Best part was that going during off season means not crowded towns, trails and teahouses.

In April 2018 I accompanied a large group of Hikers on a 14 day trek to Everest Base Camp, which I booked through Nepal Mother House. Our group was 26 in total and obviously required a lot of detailed planning for suitable accommodation etc. When communicating with Karna Rana, the company owner, he really went out of his way to accommodate us right down to the smallest detail. From our arrival in Kathmandu to our departure after our trek, everything had gone like clockwork, which was facilitated in a big way by the great guides and porters that accompanied us. I know that this is by far the largest group Nepal Motherhouse have dealt with, but it certainly caused no difficulty for them and a testament to this was the fact that all 26 hikers successfully reached base camp. Accommodation and food was very good and well organised by the friendly staff. The cost of the trek was very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in recommending or using the company for any future hikes. Well done Nepal Mother house.

I have no hesitation in recommending this most professional agency for the Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek. Arrangements were second to none and the guides employed are the finest of professionals and genuinely nice guys. Thank you all.

Nepal was our last country of 2 years traveling around the world so we were quite strict about what we wanted. We talk with more than 30 agencies and guides, and with some friends who did a trek in Nepal. Luckily we contact nepal mother house and Rana. Rana is super, super easygoing person and he answer all the hundreds of mails that we sent with a lot of questions. After all we arrived to Kathmandu and for the first moment in the airport everything was absolutely perfect. We did Tsum valley and Manaslu with the best guide we can imagine! Mr Bomb, he is for sure one of the best guides you can have in Nepal for sure. Funny, taking care of everything, knowing the best spots on the way, best places to eat, he is just perfect. Now we can say Nepal is maybe the best country we had visit in 2 years and part of it is thanks to Nepal Mother House.

We were a large group of 26 police officers from Ireland doing the Everest Base Camp trek and we booked through Karna and Nepal Mother House Treks after reading the trip advisor reviews. We took a chance on him and we struck lucky as it was an absolutely excellent service from beginning to end. Lots of emails to and from Karna before we arrived where he answered all our questions. Met us at the airport with his crew to bring us to our hotel and gave us all a briefing that evening before leaving for the trek the following morning. His head guide Kieran was excellent with his crew of 3 helper guides and 14 porters. Every evening and morning Kieran took us through what we would be doing that day, terrain, weather, etc. He really was top class. The porters were all excellent too and very friendly. We had an amazing trip thanks to Karna and his crew. You can tell that Karna genuinely cares about his groups and that shows through his attention to detail and the team he picks for your group. I have absolutely no problem recommending Karna and Nepal Mother House Treks. All of our group of 26 made base camp which was amazing thanks to Kieran and his crew and when one of our group got sick on the way back down, Karna immediately organised a helicopter to collect her and met us at the hospital etc and even called back in that evening to check on her. It really was an outstanding service.
