There are also interesting erotic carvings in old temples, old palaces, etc., Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; situated on top of a hill known as the Monkey Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world, which has been registered in UNESCO heritage site.  Pashupatinath, a holy place for Hindus, with Sadhus and pilgrims bathing, and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats which are located on the holy Bagmati River. Finally, we see the beautiful Patan Durbar square; the Krishna Temple has been built only from stone with incredible craftsmanship. Patan king’s palace, Golden Temple, and much more! Patan is very famous for woodcarving, Metalworks, Temples, and Monasteries. If we have time there are still more remarkable sites; one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu Valley, “Bhaktapur” is known as Living Museum. A few old bricks paved enclaves of the old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, and Datatriya Temple offer exquisite artwork and offer a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. During this day you can visit the Tibetan Refugees camp, which is nearby the Zoo.

Then we are heading for Nagarkot for sunrise and sunset views including the Top of the World Mt. Everest (8,848m) on a clear day, and many snow-capped mountain sceneries viewed right from your room.  Manaslu and Annapurna ranges are visible during the good weather on the west horizon. Nagarkot is the most popular viewpoint, where you will enjoy a panoramic sight of the Himalayan Langtang Himalayan range, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Dorje Lakpa, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Rolwaling Himalayan range, terraces, river side’s, green hills, and beautiful sceneries, with quaint old traditional hospitality of the local people in the cradle of Nepalese civilization and culture.  After late breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu by car to the Hotel and then visit Chagunarayan Temple.
