We are glad to organize your Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Tour. This is a mixture of different places and various experiences in a shortened period such as visiting world heritage sites such as the Kathmandu Valley, Chitwn Jungle Safari, Pokhara sightseeing, Sarangkot and Nagarkot sunrises with spectaculars snow capped mountains . On the first day you will explore historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath; situated on top of a hill known as the Monkey Temple, and is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNESCO heritage side.  Pasupatinath; Hindus holy place, with Sadhus and pilgrims bathing and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghat, located on the holy Bagmati River. After these activities we go back to the hotel and prepare for the next day tour. 

On the second day of the Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Scenic Tour we are heading for a Chitwan Wildlife Tour which begins from 4/5 hours scenic drive Kathmandu to lowland Chitwan by tourist Bus or private car for wildlife discoveries. The first national park Chitwan is situated in southern central Nepal, covering 932 sq. km, and was declared an UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. Since then it gained popularity among Nepal travelers. The 8 Days Nepal Scenic Adventure Tour offers a wilderness of rich ecosystems that includes mammals, birds, reptiles, and several species water animals. The village of Nagarkot is on the edge of the valley and offers superb views of the mountains as well as the Kathmandu valley. Early sunrise view at Nagarkot is the most fascinating and mesmerizing. Day 01 : Arrival to Kathmandu (Dinner)Upon arrival airport, you will meet our “Nepal Mother House Treks” staff and you will be transferred to your Hotel. Take a rest and free afternoon.

Day 02 : Drive Kathmandu – Chitwan National Parks (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast, we’ll depart Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. The journey takes about 4-5 hours from Kathmandu to Chitwan national park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Lunch will be served in the resort, and after lunch we will proceed to a Tharu Village tour. Dinner and Overnight stay at Chitwan National park.

Day 03 : Explore Day in Chitwan National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) The Royal National Park (960sq Kms), formerly a royal hunting reserve, lies in the lowland Tarai zone of Southern Nepal. It is home to an extraordinary range of the world’s rarest animals and birds. Today, we’ll enjoy bird watching, followed by a jungle walk on elephant back, safari through the jungle and canoe ride, and a Tharu cultural show in the evening. Stay overnight stay at Chitwan National park.

Day 04 : Drive Chitwan – Pokhara; Fewa Lake and Mt Annapurna Ranges (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Today we will depart for Pokhara by coach (5-6 hours) passing through beautiful landscapes, paddy farms, rivers, tiny villages etc. Pokhara is located 200 kilometer west of Kathmandu city. This is the second largest city of Nepal. It is a most beautiful city with lakes and panoramic view of Annapurna Himalayan ranges. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare loom over the tropical setting of Pokhara valley. Stay overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 05 : Pokhara – Sharankot 1500m – Pokhara (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Wake up early in the morning and take a short drive to Sarangkot to see a sunrise, which is one of the most popular tourist spot of Nepal. Hill top is situated at elevation of 1500 meters from sea level. It will offer a magnificent view of snow capped mountains in the north & a city view of Pokhara with its beautiful lake. Later we will head back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will set off for city tour, also called “Magic land or Dreamland” of Nepal. Devi’s fall, Mahadev Gupteswor Cave and Tibetan refugee camp, where you can see their way of life - particularly the women knitting hand make carpets, which is best quality made from mountain goat’s special wool. The Evening is free for shopping around the lakeside area. Dinner and Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 06 : Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Depart Pokhara to Kathmandu 200 kilometer by private coach or domestic flight, upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 07 : Drive Kathmandu-Nagarkot (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast, our Tour Guide come to your hotel for the sightseeing tour in the historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square; the House of the Living Goddess “Kumari” and Kasthamandup temple” (said to have been built from a single tree in 16th century), Big bell-Big drams, Erotic carving in wood old temple, old palace etc., Swayambhunath; situated on top of the hill known as the Monkey Temple, and is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world, and which has been registered in UNESCO heritage side. Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Pasupatinath; a Hindu holy place with Sadhus and pilgrims bathing and, occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats, located on the holy Bagmati River. Then you will drive to Hill station Nagarkot, 2300m above seal-level, this scenic spot, with a spectacular view of the sunset and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day. In the evening, watch the sunset of the Himalayan at Nagarkot, Dinner and overnight stay in Nagarkot.

Day 08 : Drive Nagarkot- Kathmandu –Your Destination (Breakfast) Enjoy a sunrise view from your resort room balcony. All rooms are facing towards the Sunrise and Mountain views. A leisurely breakfast at resort, then take a 1 hour drive to Kathmandu airport by Nepal Mother House Treks staff.

Few things are worth arranging while you are at home. Please note down these list details before your departure, this tips will help to make your trip enjoyable:

  • Read travel advice, inform yourself before travelling and get advice locally when you arrive.

  • Be sensitive to local customs, traditions and practices as your behavior may be seen as improper, hostile or even illegal.
  • Never step over anyone feet/legs, and pull in your own legs when somebody wants to pass.
  • Never touch anybody with your feet, also never point in a direction using your feet. The feet are considered the most impure parts of the body.
  • When entering a house, somebody's kitchen, temple or monastery take off your shoes.
  • As a woman you should always be dressed avoiding provocation, so keep shoulders and legs covered.
  • It is very polite to give and accept with your right hand, and even more so when you use your left hand for supporting the elbow of your right hand.
  • When in doubt how to behave in certain situations; keep a low profile, do not shout and keep your dignity.
  • It is better not to touch offerings or persons when they are on way to shrines.
  • Beef is prohibited among both the Hindus and Buddhists. No female animal is killed for food.
  • You may not be allowed entry to the inner sanctuaries of temples and Stupas.
  • You may be interested to take snaps of temples, Stupas and monuments. Generally temples, Stupas and monuments are permitted to be photographed, but it is better to have permission before using your cameras.
