The Entrance fees are different according to the trekking destination (National Park, Conservation Area, Wildlife Reserve, and nationality).
[1] National Parks Fee
- National Park Fees will be required to trek in areas such as:
- Sagarmatha National Park (Everest) (2655+13%) - RS 3,000 per person
- Langtang National Park (2655+13%) - RS 3,000 per person
- Makalu-Barun National Park (2655+13%) - RS 3,000 per person
- Rara National Park (2655+13%) - RS 3,000 per person
- Shey-Phoksundo National Park (2655+13%) - RS 3,000 per person
- Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park (885+13%) - RS 1,000 per person
- Bardiya National Park (1328+13%) - RS 1,500 per person
- Chitwan National Park (1770+13%) - RS 2,000 per person

[2] Conservation Area Entrance Fee
- Annapurna Area Conservation Project (ACAP) (2655+13%) - RS 3000 per person
- Manaslu Area Conservation Project (ACAP) (2655+13%) - RS 3000 per person
- Gaurishanker Conservation Area (GCAP) (2655+13%) - RS 3000 per person
- Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCAP) (1770+13%) -RS 2000 per person

[3] Restricted Area Trekking Permit:
Department of Immigration (DoI) through the Trekking Agency, now a day to apply need to fill up an online form requiring details on the Department of Immigration.
- A special trekking permit is required to visit Nepal's restricted areas determined for trekking by the government. If you plan to trek in two different areas, two trekking permits are required.
- As for new rules, a new trekking pass TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card is required for trekking in all major areas.
- While organizing those permits (restricted area permit), the immigration officer asked for your Nepal visa which must be validated the entire trip, and an original passport with 4 copies of PP-size pictures of each of you.
- Normally it is not possible to organize all your permits before your Nepal arrival, according to Nepal immigration rules.
- Less than 10 years of children do not need permits but should be submitting a Passport birth certificate which is provided by their local government.
- For the Restricted Area Trip; you need a minimum of 2 people in a Group to obtain the permits. Only the Government Register Trekking agency has the authority to apply it and on the list, you need one Government License holder trekking Guide.

[I] Kanchanjunga and Lower Dolpa
US$ 20.00 per week per person
[II] Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa
For 10 days: US$ 500.00 and after 10 days per day per person US$ 50.00
[III] Gorkha District / Manaslu
There are two different trekking routes in Manaslu in the Restricted area.
Manaslu Circuit
From Sept. to Nov: US$ 100.00 per week and after 7 days per day per person US$ 15.00
From Dec. to Aug: US$ 75.00 per week and after 7 days per day per person US$ 10.00
Chhekampar & Chunchet VDC (Sirdibas - Lokpa - Chumling - Chhekampar - Nile - Chhule Area)
From September to November US$ 40.00 per person for the first 7 days & 7 USD per day afterward.
From December to August US$ 30.00 per person for the first 7 days & 7 USD per day afterward.
[IV] Dolakha District (Gauri Shankar & Lamabagar)
Per week per person US$ 20.00
[V] Humla District (Simikot-Yari)
Limi and Muchu VDC and the way to Tibet via Tangekhola of Darma VDC
First 7 days: US$ 50.00 and after 7 days: US$ 10.00 per day per person
Note: To get group trekking permits, an application form with other relevant documents should be submitted through the registered trekking agency of Nepal.
Trekking fees can be paid in Nepalese currency.

[VI] Rasuwa District
Thuman and Timure: per week per person US$ 20.00
[VII] Sankuwasabha District
Makalu region (Areas of Kimathanka, Chepuwa, Hatiya, Pawakhola Village)
For the first 4 weeks per week per person is US$ 20.00 and after 4 weeks per week per person is US$20.00
[VIII] Solukhumbu District
Everest Region
All north-west area way from Thame to Nangpala of Namche Village Development Committee
For the first 4 weeks per week per person is US$ 10.00. After 4 weeks per week per person is US$20.00
[IX] Manang District
The areas of Nar, Phu, and Northern area of Tilche Village, of Thoche Village Development Committee
From September to November per week per person is US$ 100 & 15 USD per day afterward.
From December to August per week per person is US$ 75.00 & 15 USD per day afterward.
[X] Mugu District
The areas of Mugu, Dolpu, Pulu, and Bhangi:
For the first 7 days is US$ 100.00 per person and after 7 days per person per day is US$ 15.00.
[XI] Bajhang District
The areas of Kanda, Saipal, Dhuli:
For the first 7 days US$ 90.00 per person and after 7 days per person per day US$ 15.00
[XII] Darchula District
Areas of Byas Village Development Committee:
For the first 7 days is US$ 90.00 per person. After 7 days per person per day is US$ 15.00.
Important Notes for Restricted Area Trekking Permit
*Trekking permits will not be issued for more than the date of validity of the visa.
*Trekking permit will not be issued to individual trekkers in the following areas:
- Kanchenjunga
- Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa
- Manaslu
- Humla (Simikot-Yari)
