3rd International Langtang Marathon by TAAN

To promote adventure Tourism in Nepal and give massage overworld, Nepal is completely safe after earth quick; Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) had successfully organized two events in the previous year. This year also going to be held on April 25th-2018 as Langtang International Marathon 2018, likewise. There will be two category events both men and women.

The marathon will begin from Kyanjin Gompa an elevation of 3,910 meters and conclusion in Syabrubensi (1,440m), covering about 42.195 km in the Himalaya, through the most popular trekking route of Langtang valley, through the National Park and villages; Kyanjin Gomba, Godha Tabela, Lama Hotel,  Rimche, Sherpagaon, Khangjim, and Syabrubensi.

Kyanjin Gompa is situated at an altitude of 3,910m meters from sea level, from where can see breathtaking spectacular views of Langtang Himal ranges. Kyanjin Gompa is named by religious Buddhist Monastery  “Kyanjin Monastery” this is the destination for the Langtang valley Short trip, which is can do list 8 days to above.

3rd TAAN International Langtang Marathon 2018 has a purpose to extend Nepal as an international destination for sports and adventure activities. It aims to endorse Nepal with Langtang in particular as one of the main destinations for adventure tourism among both international and domestic tourists.

This marathon will draw attention around the world to conserve the Himalayan biodiversity and protection of rare and elusive species like the Red Panda.

Participant Entry fee per Person:

For Nepalese: NPR. 2,500
For Forgeries: 75 USD



Winner: NPR. 50,000 with Certificated and Medal
Second: NPR. 30,000 with Certificated and Medal
Third: NPR. 20,000 with Certificated and Medal

Meanwhile, I have completed my Master’s degree in Rural Development (2016) from Tribhuvan University of Kathmandu, Nepal’s leading educational institution.
