Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to hotel 1350m.Upon arrival at international airport meet our assistants and transfer to the Hotel (star category, very nice and centrally located at Thamel) to take a rest and be free all afternoon.
Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (1350m) Our Tour Guide leads you to explore around Kathmandu valley for sightseeing. You will explore historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square; the House of the Living Goddess “Kumari” and Kasthamandup temple” - it is said that it was built from a single tree in 16th century, Big bell-Big drams, Erotic carvings in old temples, old palaces, etc., Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; situated on top of the hill known as the Monkey Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world, which has been registered as a UNESCO heritage side. Pasupatinath; Hindus holy place, with Sadhus and pilgrims bathing, and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats, located on the holy Bagmati River. After these activities we go back to your hotel and prepare for the treks. Stay overnight at hotel. Please, check your insurance details and have a copy of your travel medical insurance policy with you.
Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu to Bandipur Village (1050m) -4 to 5 hours This morning you journey to the small village of Bandipur along a 16km stretch of rough off-road (approx 1hr drive) which is currently being rapidly tracked. The foothills of the Himalayas are in themselves impressive enough, but as you get closer to Bandipur you get tempting views of the high peaks. On your way there, should be the opportunity, for those who wish, you may embark on a thrilling white water rafting adventure on the Trisuli River (optional and subject to minimum numbers), rejoining the group later this evening in Bandipur. Arriving in Dumre you turn south, off the main highway, and continue to a ridge set at an altitude of 1050m; here lies the delightful village of Bandipur. Winding its way up and down hills. Bandipur’s main street has many three or four storey brick buildings with carved wood windows, including yours - a converted Newari house called The Old Inn. The 3 or 4 temples in the town add to the atmosphere in what is a traditional Nepali hill village; few foreigners find their way up here. You stretch your legs with a walk through the village and out into the surrounding countryside for superb views up the Marsyangdi river valley, to the Himalaya beyond. Many of the range’s giants can be seen: Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and the distant Annapurnas amongst them. Guesthouse (shared facilities).
Day 04 : Explore Siddha Cave -1 ½ hours walk and Drive to Pokhara (950m) -2 to 3 hours Fortified with a hot cup of tea you awake in the hope of seeing a superb sunrise over the Himalaya. The sun turns the icy white peaks of the world’s highest mountains from deep orange, through a soft yellow glow, to pure white. This morning there is the chance to take a walk in the surrounding area. After sunrise viewing and having breakfast, your guide leads you to the huge cave Shiddha Gufa after 1 ½ hours downhill walk. You can find it is unbelievable walking on a ladder and by rope for 45 minutes. Then we drive to the beautiful city Pokhara from the highway. Pokhara is a beautiful valley, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail), Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The town of Pokhara is set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu providing the perfect starting point for our trek. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Drive to Nayapul (1010m) - 1: 45 hours and trek to Tikhedunga (1570meters) - 3 hours The first day of trekking starts at Nayapul after 1 and half hour driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 20 minutes, just a short walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015m) a large village that has many shops and teahouses, where the inhabitants are of Gurung, Magar and Thakali extraction. Then, the trail continues following the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola through villages and climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1495m), and then after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga (1570m). Today’s walk offers a short and comparatively easy day, during the journey allowing you to get used to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 06 : Trek Thikdhunga to Ghorepani (2840m) -5 to 6 hours After breakfast, we begin our journey with a steep climb to a large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m) after crossing a bridge. Then the trail leads us to continue to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, we can see Lonmgur (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping in the trees. Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2460m), and after an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m). Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 07 : Hike up Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) - 45 munities, to Tadapani (2520m) – 4 to 5 hours We will hike about 45 minutes to Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning; this viewpoint provides an unobstructed beautiful sunrise over the high Himalayas with panoramic views of the giants Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchere, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, South Annapurna etc. along with a network of other peaks slowly beginning to appear like magic before our eyes. We come back to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast, and then start walking to Tadapani. The trail climbs along ridges with pine and rhododendron forests to the Deurali and then descends through the beautiful waterfall, stream, and dense forest to the Banthati. The stream has some clear pools alongside the trail, and finally climbs up to the final destination Tadapani, meaning ‘far water’ and the water supply for this village is a long distance below.
Day 08 : Tadapani to Ghaundrung (1950m) - 3 to 4 hours Today is an easier day, so after late wake up breakfast we will descend steeply through dense forests with breathtaking panorama view to the Ghaundrung village, with its inhabitants of Gurung people. But if you wake up early in the morning, you are offered excellent sunrise with mountains changeable faces from your place at Tadapani. We will overnight here so have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation office, museum and picturesque ancient Guring village, the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal.
Day 09 : Trek Ghaundrung to Nayapul (1010m) - 3 hours, Drive to Pokhara (950m) - 1:45 hours Today is our last day of trekking; we complete our trek in Nayapul at elevation 1010 meters, short and easy walking through the terraced hill settlement. Then drive 1 and half hour by private vehicle followed by a ride back to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. Stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.
Day 10 : Explore day around Pokhara Valley After late breakfast, we will start sightseeing around Pokhara Valley with Nepal Mother House Treks and a well experienced Guide. The noteable places; Fewa Lake, Bagnes Lake, Devi’s water fall, Bisw Shanti Stupa (World Peace stupa), International Mountaineering Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower cave. We will relax the rest of the day in a Hotel, or do some Shopping around. Overnight at hotel Day
Day 11 : Drive Pokhara to Chitwan -4 to 5 hours by Tourist Bus After breakfast, we’ll depart to Chitwan national park. The journey takes about 5-6 hours from Kathmandu-Chitwan national park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Lunch will be served in the resort, after lunch we will proceed for Tharu village tour. Dinner and overnight stay at Chitwan national park.
Day 12 : Explore day in Chitwan Jungle Safari The royal national park (960sq kms), formerly a royal hunting reserve, lies in the low land Terai zone of southern Nepal. If is home to an extraordinary range of the world’s rarest animals and birds. Today, we’ll enjoy the bird watching, followed by the jungle walk, Elephant Back Riding Safari through the jungle, Cannoning, Village Tour and Tharu cultural show in the evening. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 13 : Drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning by Tourist Bus - 6 to 7 hours After breakfast, you will drive to Kathmandu by regular tourist bus.
Day 14 : Your own destination. In this pleasant day you may have a full day at leisure to either relax at hotel or explore the around Thamel. Today is the last day of your journey, so we will hand you a Trip Certificate, Trekking Permit and TIMS Card for memory of Nepal trip. Today is free for last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives until your departure flight/drive. Our assistants will help you transfer to the International Airport for your departure flight to your further destination, taking with you the memory of a life time.
