Recently, air travel in Nepal has increased very highly as the road journey is long and exhausting. The road journey is very long, as it is impossible to drive faster due to the poor condition of the road. During the rainy season, June to August, there is no option to travel rather than air.

General Information on Air Tickets (Domestic)
Getting a seat for remote regions such as Lukla, Jomson, Phaplu, Dolpa, Simikot, Jumla, and Taplejung in Nepal is very hard, so we request you kindly book your seat in advance.
Free Baggage Allowance
15 to 20 kg for adults, 7.5 to 10 kg for children, and nil for infants in the domestic sector. Hand baggage allowance is limited to 5 Kg.
Infant Child Discount
Child discount of 33 % and 90 % discount applicable for the infant.
Cancellation Refund
A 10% cancellation charge is applicable if the booking is canceled at least 24 hours before the flight. A 33.3% cancellation charge is applicable if the booking is canceled at least one hour before the flight time at the airport. A 100 % cancellation charge is applicable if fail to cancel the booking. A 50 % abortive charge shall be applied in case a charter flight is aborted due to weather.

What to expect during the flight?
The one-hour flight takes you within camera range of some of the highest peaks in the world, and cruising this close to the awe-inspiring massifs of rock and ice is an out-of-this-earth experience. The aircraft takes off and heads eastward and almost immediately, the peaks come into view. The first peak that appears on your horizon is the majestic Gosaithan, standing 8,013 m tall. To its right, appears Dorje Lhakpa (6,966 m), looking like a massive figure of 8, lying prone and covered in snow. To its right is Phurbi Chyachu, which looms over the Kathmandu Valley.
Next on your vision is Choba Bhamare, rather small in this company at 5,933 m, but singularly stubborn as it remains unconquered to this day. Then comes Mt. Gaurishanker (7,134 m), standing out sharp and conspicuous-Hindus believe that Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati protect this mountain.
As the flight moves toward the eastern Himalayas, a succession of majestic mountains follows. Melungtse, with a plateau-like top, stands at 7,023m; Chugimago is at 6,297m and remains to be scaled. Mount Numbur stands at 6,956 m. Then, Karyolung, a gleaming-white mountain at 6,511 m, and Cho-Oyu, the sixth highest in the world at 8,021 m.
The last and most exciting stretch of the journey takes you close to the 7,952-meter-tall Gyanchungkang, which is considered an extremely tough climb. To its right are Pumori at 7,161 m and Nuptse at 7,855 m. Finally, there is Mt. Everest itself (8,848 m), also known as Sagarmatha by the Nepalese and Chomolungma by the Tibetans. It is an altogether different feeling as one comes face to face with the world's tallest and most enigmatic of mountains. Mountain flights are also conducted from Pokhara.
