An easy Trekking in Nagarkot Namobuddha, offers distant views of snowy mountains, countryside life style and culture. Who are traveling with children’s, Family’s, students and have not enough time for longer trips in Nepal, Dhulikhel Namobuddha will be suitable.

This trip starts an hour drive from Kathmandu city into the north-east to Sundarijal. Then ascend through the Sivapuri National park and Mulkharka Village with amazing Kathmandu valley view.  It offers Langtang Himalayan range in front of you and many mountains Far East can see including Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Annapurna range are visible during the good weather in west horizon. Expansion trip to Namobuddha, Panauti and Balthali Villages, where can see amazing legend related to the Buddha. Namobuddha is good place for meditation, explore about Buddhism. Namo Buddha is a Buddhist sacred place; people believe that where Lord Buddha saved the life of a tiger dying from hunger. Likewise, typical Newari village their culture and tradition and many temples (Shiva Lingam, Indreshwar Mahadev) can see at Panauti. Panauti is sacred place itself, where many sages including Gautam Rishi mediated and live. According to an ancient Vedic scripts, people believed that the entire valley of Panauti rests in a single stone beneath. From Panauti you can drive back to Kathmandu for your own destination also.

Day 04:Trek Chisapani to Nagarkot (2156 m) -6 to 7 hours

Day 05:Trek Nagarkot to Dhulikhel -4 to 5 hours

Day 06:Trek Dhulikhel to Namabuddha (1982m) – 2 to 3 hours

Day 07:Trek Namabuddha (1982m) to Panuti village -2 to 3 hours, drive back to Kathmandu

Day 01 : Arrival at Kathmandu.Upon arrival at international airport meet assist and transfer to the Hotel (star category, very nice and centrally located at Thamel), take rest and free at afternoon.

Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and preparation for the Trek Our Tour Guide led you explore around Kathmandu valley for the sight seen. Have explore historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square; the House of Living Goddess “Kumari” and Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century, Big bell-Big drams, Erotic carving in old temple, old palace etc., Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; situated on top of the hill knows as the Monkey Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNICECO heritage side. Pasupatinath; Hindus holy place, Sadhus and pilgrims bathing at occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats, located on the holy Bagmati river. Finally we have sightseeing beautiful Patan Durbar squares; the Krisna Temple has build just by stone with incredible crafts, Patan king’s palace, Golden temple and much more. It is very famous for woodcarving, Metal works, Temples and Monasteries. If we have time there are still more remark site; the one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley “Bhaktapur” is known as Living Museum. Where, old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. After these activates back to hotel and pre- prier for the treks. Stay overnight at hotel. Please, check your insurance details and have a copy of your travel medical insurance policy with you.

Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1350m) -1 hour & trek to Chisapani (2300m) -3 to 4 hours We drive from Kathmandu to the Sundarijal northern edge of the Kathmandu valley for about an hour by private transport and start to hike through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The first settlement we will come across to sprawling Tamang settlement Mulkharka. The trail continues on a gentle climb through the forests ridges before it drops down to Chisopani (cold water) (2300m) situated on the ridge from where you can see countless snow peaks. The sunrise on the Himalaya, from Annapurna to Everest, is particularly outstanding from here. Stay overnight there.

Day 04 : Trek Chisapani to Nagarkot (2156 m) -6 to 7 hours After having breakfast the trail lead us to Nagarkot (2156 m) a long day hike with Nepalese cultural village life style and beautiful mountain views. After reaching Nagarkot enjoy the sunset view and its offer magnificent and panoramic views of many Himalayan ranges including the 8,848 meters top of the world Mt. Everest. Among many incredible beauties of Nagarkot Sunrise and Sunset views over mountains are one of the best. Stay overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 05 : Trek Nagarkot to Dhulikhel -4 to 5 hours We wake-up early in the morning, to see sunrise and the Eastern Himalayan views including Mt. Everest, and others many mountains secondary. Then after breakfast we start trek to Dhulikhel (2100m). Trek lead to Dhulikhel passing many pine forest and rice terraces through the Nala village with many countryside activities. The Dhulikhel is renowned for splendor Himalaya view and its harbor many species of exotic birds. In addition the most attraction of Dhulikhel is the Newari culture and tradition. We stay overnight at hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 06 : Trek Dhulikhel to Namabuddha (1982m) – 2 to 3 hours Today, after having breakfast we start our journey toward to Namobudha (1982m) about 2 ½ to 3 hours, where popular monastery is situated, religious people often visit here for meditation and praying. Namo Buddha a sacred Buddhist place where Lord Buddha saved the life of a tiger dying from hunger. You will stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 : Trek Namabuddha (1982m) to Panuti village -2 to 3 hours, drive back to Kathmandu Panauti is renowned for its Newari, culture and tradition, Indreshwar Mahadev Temple and the beautiful landscapes and it harbor many species of exotic birds that can be seen all around. After that you well return back to Kathmandu by private vehicle for stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 08 : Final Departure to your Destination In this pleasant day you may have full day at leisure either relax at hotel or explore the around Thamel. Today is day of ending your journey, so Nepal Mother House will hand over you Trip Certificate, Trekking Permit and TIMS Card for memory of Nepal trip. Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until departure flight/drive. Our assist will be transfer to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

Few things are worth arranging while you are at home. Please note down these list details before your departure, this tips will help to make your trip enjoyable:

  • Read travel advice, inform yourself before travelling and get advice locally when you arrive.

  • Never step over anyone feet/legs, and pull in your own legs when somebody wants to pass.
  • Never touch anybody with your feet, also never point in a direction using your feet. The feet are considered the most impure parts of the body.
  • When entering a house, somebody's kitchen, temple or monastery take off your shoes.
  • As a woman you should always be dressed avoiding provocation, so keep shoulders and legs covered.
  • It is very polite to give and accept with your right hand, and even more so when you use your left hand for supporting the elbow of your right hand.
  • When in doubt how to behave in certain situations; keep a low profile, do not shout and keep your dignity.
  • It is better not to touch offerings or persons when they are on way to shrines.
  • Beef is prohibited among both the Hindus and Buddhists. No female animal is killed for food.
  • You may not be allowed entry to the inner sanctuaries of temples and Stupas.
  • You may be interested to take snaps of temples, Stupas and monuments. Generally temples, Stupas and monuments are permitted to be photographed, but it is better to have permission before using your cameras.
