Nagarkot  Dhulikhel Trekking starts from Shanku, ancient city into the east part of Kathmandu 16 Km from Thamel. During this trip, you have panoramic view of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and including Mt. Everest Far East and Annapurna range. Nagarkot and Dhulikhel is the most popular views point of Kathmandu valley ride, where you will enjoy with typical village with rice terrace, river side, green hill and beautiful scenery’s, as know also agro-old tradition hospitality people and cradle of Nepalese civilization and culture. Then the trail goes to amazing village Namo Buddha; the sacred shrines of the Buddhist, people believe this is one of best place where studying about Buddhism and meditation. Day 01:Drive Kathmandu to Sankhu (1350m) -1 hour & trek to Nagarkot (2156 m) -2 to 3 hours

Day 02:Trek Nagarkot to Dhulikhel -4 to 5 hours

Day 03:Visit Namabuddha and trek down to Panauti village -4 to 5 hours, drive Back to Kathmandu

Day 01 : Drive Kathmandu to Sankhu (1350m) -1 hour & trek to Nagarkot (2156 m) -2 to 3 hoursWe drive from Kathmandu to the Sankhu east edge of the Kathmandu valley for about an hour by private transport and start to hike through the ancient village and temples. The trail gradually ascends along the sacred Sali Nadi (river), village, rice terrace, jungle and beautiful mountain views to the Kattike village. Another 45 munities walking you get in Nagarkot enjoy the sunset view and its offer magnificent & panoramic views of many Himalayan ranges including the 8,848 meters top of the world Mt. Everest. Among many incredible beauties of Nagarkot Sunrise and Sunset views over mountains are one of the best. Stay overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 02 : Trek Nagarkot to Dhulikhel -4 to 5 hours We wake-up early in the morning, to see sunrise and the Eastern Himalayan views including Mt. Everest, and others many mountains secondary. Then after breakfast we start trek to Dhulikhel (2100m). Trek lead to Dhulikhel passing many pine forest and rice terraces through the Nala village with many countryside activities. The Dhulikhel is renowned for splendor Himalaya view and its harbor many species of exotic birds. In addition the most attraction of Dhulikhel is the Newari culture and tradition. We stay overnight at hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 03 : Visit Namabuddha and trek down to Panauti village -4 to 5 hours, drive Back to Kathmandu Today, after having breakfast we start our journey toward to Namobudha (1982m), where popular monastery is situated, religious people often visit here for meditation and praying. Panauti is renowned for its Newari, culture and tradition, Indreshwar Mahadev Temple and the beautiful landscapes and it harbor many species of exotic birds that can be seen all around. After that you well return back to Kathmandu by private vehicle for stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu. Then your destination.

Few things are worth arranging while you are at home. Please note down these list details before your departure, this tips will help to make your trip enjoyable:

  • When entering a house, somebody's kitchen, temple or monastery take off your shoes.
  • As a woman you should always be dressed avoiding provocation, so keep shoulders and legs covered.
  • It is very polite to give and accept with your right hand, and even more so when you use your left hand for supporting the elbow of your right hand.
  • When in doubt how to behave in certain situations; keep a low profile, do not shout and keep your dignity.
  • It is better not to touch offerings or persons when they are on way to shrines.
  • Beef is prohibited among both the Hindus and Buddhists. No female animal is killed for food.
  • You may not be allowed entry to the inner sanctuaries of temples and Stupas.
  • You may be interested to take snaps of temples, Stupas and monuments. Generally temples, Stupas and monuments are permitted to be photographed, but it is better to have permission before using your cameras.
