This is second part of Pasupatinath - Mankamana and Muktinath Darshan Yatra (Tour). It is believed that all miseries and sorrows are relieved once you visit this Muktinath Temple (Mukti = Nirvana or status of Liberty or Free, Nath = God). The famous Muktinath Pilgrims Tour visit the Muktinath Temple, which is lies in the Mustang district situated about 18 kms northeast of Jomsom at 3800 meter altitude. The Hindus shrine pagoda shaped Muktinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Sets into the wall around it are 108 waterspouts from which pour holy water; even during the winter also people take bath here in order to wash out their sin (bad Karma). People believed that one should visit this temple after competing pilgrimage of four special religious sites in India. Muktinath temple held sacred by Hindus as well as Buddhists. The Jwala Mai temple nearby contains a spring and an eternal flame fed by natural gas underground believed as a real God. There is a world-class accommodation facility in Jomsom from where one can enjoy remarkable natural beauty. The famous temple of Muktinath lies in the district of Mustang. Muktinath is a pilgrimage place for both Buddhist and Hindu. It is situated 48 km north east of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3749 m. Its main shrine is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Behind the temple there are 108 waterspouts cast in the shape of cow headed pour holy water. Here lots of pilgrimage takes bath from the ice-cold holy water. The temple is situated on a high mountain range. During the festival of Janai Purnima, Hindu devotees gather here to pay homage to lord Muktinath. Another famous temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame, is situated about hundred meters south of Muktinath. Now a day to Muktinath is easier to get from Pokhara to Jomsom by plane and take horse or 5 to 6 hours walk to Muktimnath or drive by the Bus Pokhara to all the way Muktinath through Kali-Gandaki valley.

Day 01 : Upon arrival Kathmandu Airport. And transport to Hotel.Upon arrival at international airport, meet assistance and transfer to the Hotel (star category, very nice and centrally located at Thamel), take rest and relax for the afternoon.

Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing tour (1350m) On this first day you will explore historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square; the House of Living Goddess “Kumari” and Kasthamandup temple” (said to have been built from a single tree in 16th century), Big bell-Big drams, Erotic wood-carvings in old temples and palaces, etc., Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; situated on top of the hill known as the Monkey Temple, it is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in the world, which has been registered as an UNESCO heritage side. After dinner you will be able to stroll along the busy street of Kathmandu city center. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (950m) via Mankamana– 6 to 7 hours by Car Our guide will come to the hotel in the morning pick you with private transport to leave for Pokhara (200 km) and will take us about 6 to 7 hours of scenic journey. Meanwhile, on the way to Pokhara 104 KM, we will visit to Manakamana Temple “Wish-fulfilling Goddess” by cable car for 10 minutes. Spend about 1 to 2 hours, then back to the highway and drive on to Pokhara. Along the journey you will witness some stunning scenery of snow capped Mountains, green hills, rivers to raft in, and villages. Pokhara is a beautiful valley, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail), Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The town of Pokhara is set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu providing the perfect starting point for our trek. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Explore day around Pokhara Valley After late breakfast, we will start sightseeing around Pokhara Valley. The notable places; Fewa Lake, Bagnes Lake, Devi’s water fall, Bisw Shanti Stupa (Worlde Peace stupa ), International Mountaineering Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower cave. We will relax the rest of the day in the Hotel or do some shopping around. Overnight at hotel Day

Day 05 : Fly Pokhara to Jomsom (2713m) -25 minutes, Trek Jomsom to Kagbeni (2897m) -3 to 4 hours Early in the morning, we will fly to Jomsom by a 25 minutes scenic flight offering views of Spectacular Mountains. Then we start our first day of trekking from Jomsom (2713m) to Kagbeni (2897m) after breakfast. The trekking trail follows the wide valley of the Kali Gandaki. The wind generally picks up after about midday, but will at least be blowing at our backs as you head up to ancient village of Kagbeni, where we get to see the rustic Upper mustang area. The Rest of the day we will explore around the village and interact with the local culture.

Day 06 : Pony Trek Kagbeni to Muktinath (38000m) -4 to 5 hours After breakfast the Trail ascends for a couple hundred Meters, gradually walking you can enjoy beautiful deserted landscapes, Caves, old Tibetan Style Villages, apple Gardens, Yaks Herds, and Sheep Herds and so on, and splendid view of Dhaulagiri (8165m), and Nilgiri (7061m). Far ahead of us we can look at Thorong La valley straight up to the Muktinath. We will visit the Jharkot ancient Tibetan style village, with its Monastery built in the 15 century and fort. Now you head following steeply ascending paths for half an hour towards Muktinath (3800m), an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Muktnith is a place of Nirvana, and is home to the Hindus temple as well as several Buddhist monasteries. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it has 108 waterspouts around it from which Holy water spurts, and Jwala Mai Temple which holds an eternal flame fed by natural underground gas.

Day 07 : Trek Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) - 5 to 6 hoursAfter breakfast we walk down to the ancient Jharkot village which remains as some part of a fort, and then continue to the Khinga village, whose culture and live hood are like similar Tibetan people. We are still in the high alpine area with desert rocky hills and the wide windy Kaligandaki valley, where can find “Saligram” fossil, incarnations of God Bisnu. After 5 to 6 hours downward walking we will get Tibetan and Gurung mixed cultural inhabitance Kagbeni, and get out of the rusticated upper Mustang Trekking. Finally get in Jomsom, now a day you can drive Muktinatha to Jomsom and Pokhara also by Bus or jeep.

Day 08 : Fly Jomsom to Pokhara (950m) -25 munites, relaxing Day Early in the morning fly to Pokhara by small air craft with majestic mountain views above the World's deepest Gorge. And relax whole day in Pokhara Hotel. Or wander around the Lake Side city with fascinating mountain panorama views and charming nature.

Day 09 : Drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning by Tourist Bus - 6 to 7 hours pr your own destination We will be ready at 6:00 morning in the hotel lobby having your breakfast or asking advice from your trekking guide. We will drive back to Kathmandu through the road passing terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, high hills and along the river side. It takes about 7 hours (conditional) to reach your hotel in Kathmandu.
