Kanchenjunga Trekking

Kanchenjunga known as jewels of mountains, it is third highest mountain in the world an elevation of 8586 meters. It is lies in eastern part of Nepal, just nearby Sikkim border. Kanchenjungha is part of Great Himalayan trail, which begging from, it would be best to do organize camping trekking for proper trip. But now days, it can do basic tea house trekking in Kanchanjungha south and North Base Camp with Sele La Pass.  Kanchenjunga is real trekking route in Nepal, with fewer tourists and virgin nature, amazing mountains scenery, people unique culture and picturesque landscape. 
Kanchanjunga Trekking used to start from Basantapur or Hile or Taplejung after long overland travel from Kathmandu. But now you can fly in Suketar with in 45 munities from Kathmandu and toward Kanchanjungha trip.  People who are in limit budget but still like to explore this amazing trip, then you have alternative access from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur or Biratnagar and then drive to Taplejung or Basantapur. As our experience and our client’s feedback, we would like to suggest you batter to fly at Suketar to avoid long journey by bus.  You have great experience during this trip; at first you will visit to the one of the lowest elevation (65m) at Jhapa and get Kanchenjunga Base Camp 5,388 meters and scenery of Mt. Kanchenjungha 8586 meters. Not at all that, you will walk through the Nepali countryside with different ethnic group and religions. At the low land mostly, Bramina and Chhetri live, they are participating as Hinduism. Even though some other cast also you can see. And to the Ghunsa mostly Limbu and Rai people can see. They are following Kirat religion.  Above the Ghunsa mostly Bhotiya and Sherpa People live, people of here are Buddhist. Their culture and live hood is like similar to the former Tibetan people.  Still people of here are following polyandry marriage system in this modern era.  So, you can amaze what will be this kind of society and their belief. The culture, belief and custom are different every ethnic group and they celebrate different fest and festival.  Even though, they have good hormone and brotherhood each other. As this trip is inside the Kanchanjungha Conservation Area and declared as Restricted area Trekking, this will be special hiking with sight of endangers animals like; Red Panda, Snow leopard, Musk Deer, wild goats etc. Similarly, Rhododendron, Magnolia, Pine tree, juniper, Yarsagumba (Cordyceps), sandal wood etc. vegetation gets in the Himalaya. The astonishing mountains scenery, ringing White River, which comes through the huge mountains making gorge and origin from the glacier will luring your soul. Kanchanjungha trekking is mixture of mountain scenery, people culture and natural beauty as adventure trip. This is suitable for people who love Nature and people live hood with in basic amenities.

You can do few different trekking routes in Kanchenjunga area; Kanchenjungha South Base Camp Trek, Kanchenjungha North Base Camp Trek with Sele La and Kanchenjunga Lumba Sumba Pass.
